The Venue for conference is Thakur College of Science and Commerce- Kandivali (East)- Mumbai

TCSC is located at Kandivali(East), which is a Western suburb in the North-West part of Mumbai.

Mumbai is in the form of a long narrow island, almost a peninsula, thrusting south wards into the Arabian Sea. It can be broadly divided into four zones.

South Bombay (Colaba, CST,Fort, Chruchgate, Nariman Point etc.)
Central Bombay (Dadar, Bombay Central, Worli etc)
The Western suburbs (Bandra, Juhu, Andheri, Borivali etc)
The Eastern Suburbs(Kurla, Chembur, Ghatkopar, Mulund, Kanjur Marg, Vikhroli etc.)

There is also New Bombay (Vashi, Turbhe etc.) across Thane Creek on the mainland.

Public Transport

Mumbai has one of the most efficient and reliable public transport network. One can travel by Autorickshaws / Taxis to reach Kandivali from the nearest stations(Auto-rickshaws, however do not go further south than Sion and Bandra). For longer distance, you can use either the BEST Bus Network or the Mumbai Local train System.

Suburban Railway Transport

Those coming by Western Railway Suburban train will have to get down at Kadivali, Borivali which are the nearest stations from TCSC. If you are coming by the Central Railway Suburban train you will have to get down at Dadar and change to western Railway train. Take Bus 287 from Kandivli (East) or Bus 209,703 from Borivali (East). TCSC is 3 kms away from Kandivali/Borivali Railway stations.

Stations for Trains Coming to Mumbai:

Central: CST, Dadar, kurla, Thane
Western: Bandra, Mumbai Central, Andheri, Borivali.
Air Ports:

If you are Travelling to Mumbai (India) from outside India you will land at ‘CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT’ Terminus and if from within India, you will land at ‘CHATRAPATI SHIVAJI DOMESTIC AIRPORT’ Terminus. They are about 4 kms apart. International Airport is about 8 kms and the Domestic Airport is about 12 kms from TCSC-Kandivali(East).

Pre paid taxis and Autorickshaws are available at the Airports to come to TCSC-Kandivali(East).
